3 Type of the event
The Rhön-Radmarathon is a bike tourist event, there is no timekeeping. The Rhön cycle marathon is not a race!

4 routes
The routes offered with all data can be viewed on the following page: www.rhoen-radmarathon.de/trieben. Tours E, C and B are only offered on Sunday. Tours 1, 2, 3, family tour and the MTB route are offered on Saturday and Sunday. Tour 4 is only offered on Saturday.

5 start time and start window
Tour E, C, B The start window is chosen by the participant when registering. The start window chosen when registering is binding and the participant is obliged to start in the specified time. If the maximum number of participants for a start window has been reached, the registration option for this start window is closed. A subsequent change to the start window is not possible.

6 Registration
Registration for Tour E, C and B is only possible online and is only possible until a total of 2000 starting places reached. The time of opening the registration portal will be announced on our homepage in good time. There is no entitlement to a starting place. Registration is only valid in conjunction with the payment of the entry fee within five bank working days.
Registration for routes Tour 1, 2, 3, 4, MTB and family tour is possible both online and on site as late registration. The times of the late registration can be found in the event schedule. There is no participation limit for these routes. The registration portal for the RTF routes will be opened at a later date than for the Rhön-Radmarathon routes. The appointment will be announced in time. There is no entitlement to a starting place. The online registration is only valid in conjunction with the payment receipt of the entry fee within five bank working days.
The participant is only entitled to use the services on the route selected when registered and within the specified times. Deviating, the participant can or must drive a shorter than the selected route during the event. Either on the basis of his own decision or if he did not pass the route divisions at the preliminary times.

7 entry fee and advance fee

The entry fee entitles you to use the route, the meals at the checkpoints and the route/return service (spare parts are not included) during participation in the event and within the specified times. 9 participation
For tours E, C and B, every cyclist from the age of 18 is entitled to start, from 16 years accompanied by an adult and with the consent of the legal guardians. For Tour 1, 2, 3, 4, MTB and family tour there is no age limit, minors exclusively accompanied by an adult and with the consent of the legal guardians.

10 Change or cancellation of participation
If the participation is prevented, there is generally no entitlement to reimbursement of entry fee and advance booking fee. Shipping the Finisher Gift and the Bimbach 400 award is excluded. A transfer of the starting place to the following year is excluded. 11 Start documents edition
The starting documents of the marathon routes are output in the “registration” in the start/finish area. The times of the starting documents can be found in the event time plan. The starting pad must be picked up personally and by submitting the registration confirmation.

12 Time limit
The control deadline for tours 1, 2, 3, 4, MTB and family tour is in Bimbach on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The control deadline for tours E, C, B is on Sunday at 7 p.m. in Bimbach.
The opening times of the checkpoints and the route divisions (Tour 4, Tour C and Tour E) are limited in time and are based on the conclusion of the check. The times can be found in orientation aid (only tours E, C and B) and the event schedule.
At the announced times, the route division signs are removed and the sections of the route are closed. The route is then run away from the final vehicle. The participant is obliged to drive the signposted route. Participants who branch off on the closed routes or are behind the final vehicle no longer take part in the event and are not entitled to signs, service vehicles and meals.

13 Care during the event
The location of the refreshment points or checkpoints can be found in the start card or orientation aid (only tours E, C and B). The orientation aid is issued with the start documents and can be viewed on our homepage. For tours E, C and B, warm catering is offered at the Bischofsheim control point, please plan time here! The checkpoints are closed at the specified times, which are based on the conclusion of the control. Outside the opening times of the respective KPS specified in the event schedule, there is no attachment to meals.

14 changes or cancellation of the event
The organizer is entitled to change or shorten the route in poor weather, construction sites, official arrangement or other unforeseen events. In the event of an event of major violence- in particular storms, major damage or pandemic or official arrangement, the organizer is entitled to cancel the event- even at short notice. In this case, the entry fee is not reimbursed.

16 Liability exclusion

17 health and physical requirements
Each participant is aware of the high physical stress and confirms with the registration of fulfilling the health and physical requirements in order to take part in the event. The organizer expressly recommends that you have a sports medical examination before participating in the event in order to rule out the risks of health through the high physical stress.

18 Conditions of participation /data processing /data protection declaration
With the registration and payment of the entry fee, the participant explains to have read the conditions published at www.rhoen-radmarathon.de carefully and to accept them in full on all points. With regard to Art. 13 of the EU Ordinance 2016/679, the participant explains to have read the data protection declaration published on the website www.rhoen-radmarathon.de and to be in-formed that his consent to data processing for the below gene-called purposes is mandatory. To do this, he must tick the corresponding box in the registration form regarding the conditions of participation. If no consent to the conditions of participation and data processing is granted for the purposes below, the registration for the event cannot be accepted. 19 waste
Throwing away waste and packaging along the route is prohibited. All participants are asked to dispose of waste to the containers provided at the checkpoints.

20 Overnight Campingwiese
Near the starting site, a meadow for camping/tents is provided free of charge. Camping is only allowed on the designated and marked parking spaces. The opening times can be found in the event schedule. The use of the meadow is at your own risk. When driving on the meadows, the soil must be checked for sufficient load -bearing capacity, the vehicle owner is liable for any damage. There is no entitlement to a parking space. The night's sleep must be observed to protect the residents and the other participants. On departure from the camping meadow, all tent paws and objects must be removed.

21 Other
Our cycling marathon leads through the Rhön highs with its rough climate. Please take this into account when choosing your clothing! It is recommended to change clothes for changing and rain protection for bad weather.
